Born in Habana in 1966.  Yuque is a painter, illustrator, and multidisciplinary artist whose career spans more than three decades of prolific work in diverse media. His mastery of technique and the themes of  exuberance, squalor, ecology and decadence link with poignant irony the absurd realities of our time in a language that while rooted in his heritage is unmistakably universal in scope.

Yuque is an active member of the Designer Registry of the Cuban Association of Social Communicators, the National Union of Culture, the José Martí Cultural Society, the Book Institute and the Editorial New People.

He has worked in the Design Department at PUNTEX, the group Young Union of Cuba and the design and implementation of the Clubs of Havana.
From 2004 to this date he has been a member of the Staff of Editorial Cartoonists New People participating in numerous projects.

He participantes in the International Festival of Culture Capanelle America, Italy, Rome 2000.
Yuque’s work has been shown in solo exhibitions in the Hotel Habana Libre, Cuba, Living Solidarity, "Holy Word" in March 2011 paintings "Oda Loan", Miami, Florida; itinerant expo sponsored by the English Court Spain- Germany and "The Kingdom of Lauma" in the Gallery "René Portocarrero", Havana.
His works are found in art collections in Spain, Italy, USA, Canada, and France. 

Yuque, nació en Octubre de 1966 en La Habana, cursó estudios en el Instituto para el Diseno Informacional, graduándose en 1994. En la primera mitad de la década de los 90’s , prestó servicios como
profesional en diferentes instituciones tales como: 

Casa Central de las FAR, PUNTEX, FAMA S.A. donde ha logrado
componer un dossier que presenta un considerable numero de

impresos, carteles, logotipos,campanas publicitarias, portadas de publicaciones. 

Abandona el medio por razones propias y casi una
década después decide retomar el lenguaje pictórico actual, presentando la colección que hoy ponemos a su consideración. Exposiciones colectivas  y personales ; Colección HumorPolitico, Salón Arte
